CITRIC is pleased to present Ausländer in Berlin, a group exhibition curated by Margherita Belaief and featuring: Delia Gonzalez, Ethan Hayes-Chute, John Kleckner, Daniel Kingery, Marcus Knupp, Ryan McLaughlin, Clement Page, Kirstine Roepstorff, Dean Sameshima, Loredana Sperini, Dimitris Tzamouranis and Alexandros Tzannis.

Ausländer in Berlin intends to present some of the most interesting young artists currently living in Berlin though coming from different parts of the world and who have in common, in terms of technique, the use of the mediums of painting and drawing.

These artists are somehow influenced by the city of Berlin, even if indirectly, having made a clear choice of where to develop their artistic career. They constitute part of the urban identity of the city, contributing to the shaping of it and to its cultural dynamism.

In the past few years Berlin has formed a young artistic scene, which has been attracting people from all over, making the city a new and important center for contemporary art. Berlin now stands for change and experimentation; it is like a big adventure playground.

A publication will accompany and document the exhibition.
